The Forbidden Kingdom, a 2008 Hollywood martial arts-adventure film directed by Rob Minkoff. It is the first film starring together two of the most well-known names in the martial arts film genre, Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

Production began in early May 2007 in the area around the Gobi Desert in China.

Before filming began, the entire cast did a costume fitting and a script read through, certain dialogues were altered to suit the different actors' English speaking abilities; this was due to the majority of the cast having English as their second language.

Filming continued at the Wuyi Mountains and at the Hengdian World Studios. Filming finished on August 24, 2007.
Campukak: Finally the two masters of the Kung Fu kingdom reunited in one awsome movie. Jet Li and Jacky Chan made the movie flawlessly brilliant. It was not just the encounter between the two masters but the encounter of East and West movie calloboration, between the Myth and Reality of Kung Fu, between death and reincarnation, between the mortal and the immortal and so on. I love to see the gracious move made by the actresses Liu Yi Fei and Li BingBing. An endless production of talented chinese actresses.

INTERNATIONAL EARTH DAY - APRIL 22nd, 2008

John McConnell first introduced the idea of a global holiday called "Earth Day" at a UNESCO Conference on the Environment in 1969. UN Secretary-General U Thant supported McConnell's global initiative to celebrate this annual event, and on February 26, 1971, he signed a proclamation to that effect. More information, here.

The United Nations celebrates Earth Day, which was founded by John McConnell in 1969, each year on the March equinox, while a global observance originated by Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in, and since January 1970 also called Earth Day, is celebrated in many countries each year on April 22, including the U.S. Read more.

Barangan Kulit dari Babi

(Tanda Titik 3)

-Kasut wanita pun banyak (paling banyak masa sales)
-Sandal Lelaki.

Banyak terdapat di kompleks membeli belah terutamanya;

-Perangin Mall
-Bukit Jambul
-Gurney Plaza
-Komtar
-Sunshine
-GAMA
-Pasific
-SOGO
-Queensbay

Campukak: Pernah terserempak dengan jualan sales, barangan kasut sukan di Wisma Merdeka (Kedai Kasut Adidas-berdekatan tangga bergerak, fasa 2 Wisma Merdeka). Walking sport shoe jenama Adidas buatan China sedang dipromosikan.

Tragedy Struck The Only Rail Service In Borneo

(Picture: NSTP)

(White Water Rafting in Padas River)

By : Joniston Bangkuai, Roy Goh and Julia Chan

TENOM: A man and a woman in their 40s were killed and 39 others injured when a train derailed and plunged 20m into Sungai Padas in Sabah, an internationally known river for its white water rafting adventure through dense Borneo Tropical Rainforest.

The woman is believed to have drowned when she was thrown out of the carriage while the man was pinned underneath the wreckage in the river. The body of the woman was recovered almost immediately while the man's body was extricated three hours later at 6.45pm.

The train driver fractured his right leg, while two others -- a man and a woman -- broke their left leg and hip respectively and were warded at the district hospital. The rest of the passengers suffered minor injuries and were given outpatient treatment.

Most of the passengers onboard the old diesel locomotive were locals travelling between villages.
It was reported that the railway service will temporarily be halted to pave way for geological investigation on the current route. The eco-tourism activities would be badly effected since the train service is the only way to get to the Panggi Station (Starting Point) for daily excursion. Otherwise the tourists would have to go to Tenom via Tambunan-Keningau road (200 kM), since the newly completed Kimanis-Keningau Highway is also severely damaged by landslide.

Read on Sabah Railway History here.

Campukak: The journey from Padas Gorge to Panggi Station by train is one of the best experience one could encounter when following a white water rafting trip downstream along Padas River. Padas River is class III-IV river (Class I-Mild, Class V and VI-Dangerous) and claimed to have the best rapids in South East Asia such as Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid,Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid, and Head Hunter Rapid.

Sufiah Yusuf - Points to Ponder

"Would you like to start your half hour now?" said Sufiah, 23, as she danced on the bed, displaying her body for examination.

Calling herself Shilpa Lee, the former child prodigy still juggles with figures on a hookers' website, describing herself as a "very pretty size 8, 32D bust and 5'5" tall—available for booking every day from 11am to 8pm."

She says she is a "sexy, smart student" who prefers "older gentlemen"— but a former pal who has witnessed her downfall told us: "It is all desperately heartbreaking.

The gifted girl with the winning smile had the world at her feet ten years ago and should be a rich woman by now—but last week she was busy subtracting her underwear for our undercover reporter in her dingy back street flat. Read more..
